The koi and goldfish in my mall’s waaaay overstocked indoor pond are dying off apparently. There are only 2 left. This one was always my favorite (reminds me of the luck dragon from Neverending Story as cheesy as that sounds) and has dropsy and septicemia. I doubt it will be there next time I visit. :(. Poor fishy.

This is a close cousin of the goldfish, the koi (carp). This one weighed 30lbs and was caught by Raphael Biagini in France.

I’ve never seen one of these in person but they seem kinda neat. Some of the photos on their site look tacky but that’s more on the pond owner. Its an art, landscaping for ponds. Algae (addressed in their FAQ) might be a nightmare for some owners who are more low-maintenance and the price is steep for it basically being a lamp globe on a plexiglass stand but still, they look really unique!
(OT:This company should probably watch out using the Disney logo font in their own logo :Y lol)
